Yala Peak Climb is one of the easiest peak to climb in Nepal. You do not require technical skills nor do you need previous climbing experience. Yela is also the nearest peak from Kathmandu as it lies in Langtang Region. Yela is also the part of Langtang Himal that is located in Central Nepal.  
Climbing Yala peak is a rewarding experience that offers views of Langtang Lirung, Lenpo Gang, Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga, Shisapangma and other mountains in Nepal and Tibet. It is also one of the lowest trekking peak. March to May and September to December are best season. Yala climbing route continues through pasture land and village of Tamang ethnics.
Well Adventure Tours & Travel operate 16 days Yela Climb package. We will leave Kathmandu and cover 117km in 9hrs to reach Syabru Besi. Yela trek begins from Syabrubesi. We will lower down to Ghopche Khola and climb forest of bamboo, pine and oaks to reach Langtang Village. We will pay short visit in Kyangen Gompa Mopnastery and climb Tserko Ri before climbing Yela peak. Later, we will retrace the route back to Syabrubesi and return to Kathmandu.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m), pick up and hotel transfer
Once you arrive in Kathmandu Airport, you will complete your visa formalities and then meet our representative who will pick you up and shift you to three star hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get refreshed and then escorted to our Travel Agency where you will be introduced with your crew members. Some moments will be given to get up close and personal. You will enjoy delicious cuisine and get pleasant accommodation in Kathmandu. 

Day02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
We will get up with wakeup call and take light breakfast before leaving for full day Kathmandu tour of UNESCO enlisted sites. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath, Kasthamandap Temple, Kumari Ghar and Hanumandhoka temple are things to see in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kasthamandap Temple was built from the single tree. Kumari Ghar is the home of living goddess. Swayambhunath which is also known as Monkey Temple is the oldest stupa in the world while Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupa in Nepal.

Day03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1462m) 8hrs (BD)
We will take 9hours of drive in private vehicle early in the morning. Leaving Kathmandu, we will head north and pass along queen forest and ridges with view of mountains and Trishuli River. We will drive past Dhunche to Syabrubesi during which we can get views of Ganesh Himal and pasture lands. Road after Trishuli is still under construction.

Day04: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2500m) (BLD)
Brief descend from Syabrubesi will take us to Ghopche Khola. We will arrive at the landslide area. We will reach Rimche (2400m) from where we will cross the bamboo forest and reach at Lama Hotel where we will stay overnight. We can see red pandas, rhesus monkeys and bears in the forest.

Day05: Lama Hotel to Langtang (3100m) (BLD)
Journey on 5th day continues through Gumanechok. We will cross the maples, rhododendron and pine thickets where we can get views of monkeys and local pheasants. We will walk past few dispersed settlements to Ghora Tabela from where we will reach Thangshyap before making it to beautiful Langtang Village.

Day06: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3750m) (BLD)
We will follow the narrow path up to small yet culturally rich Sindum and Yamphu villages. Walking past the traditional houses, we will reach Laja Khola which we will cross to arrive at the top of small ridge. We can get some of the incredible views of Kyangjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung from the ridge before descending to Kyanjin Gompa.   

Day07: Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko Ri (5033m) (BLD)
We will climb above Langtang River up the valley and follow the trail that contours up the small hill to Yersa and proceed through the route lined with prayer flags and mani stones to the top of Tserko Ri from where we can get incredible views of Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, Naya Kanga, Kimshun, Langtang Ri and other peaks. 

Day08:  Tserko Ri to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m) (BLD)
We can get views of Dorje Lakpa, Kangchenpo and Lonpo Gang from Yala Base Camp which is located at 4800m. altitude above sea level. Trekking in Yela Base Camp follows the difficult path. We will reach Yela Base Camp after 5 to 6 hours of difficult trek. We will walk through rocks and boulders and reach Yela Base Camp.

Day09: Practice climbing Yela Peak
We will follow the instructions of our expedition leader and learn some skills on how to fix cables and ladders and what to do in case of unpredictable weather. We will explore around Yela Base Camp.

Day10: Climb Yala Peak (5732m) and back to Base Camp (BLD)
Yala Climbing route stretches from the north-eastern end of Yala Base Camp. We need to climb the thirty degree slopes by the aid of trekking gears including crampons, axe, ropes and ladder. We will enjoy the views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Sisapangma Mountain before lowering to Base Camp. 

Day11: Base Camp to Ghore Tabela (3050m) (BLD)
We will take the easy descending trail following the dry and rock strewn valley to Ghora Tabela where we will stay overnight.

Day 12: Ghore Tabela to Syabru (2200m) (BLD)
We will return back from Ghore Tabela to the Syabru village. The route offers us with plenty of photo shooting opportunities along with Himalayan wildlife view. We will stay overnight at Syabru.

Day13: Syabru to Sing Gompa
An early walk will take us to Dursagang from where we will climb the small hill and enjoy the views of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal Ranges. We need to traverse the oak and fir forest to Sing Gompa- a Buddhist monastery.

Day14: Sing Gompa to Dhunche (1950m) (BLD)
We will take the descending trail and enter the forest of pine, oak and rhododendron woods. Exiting from the forest, we will move to the suspension bridge. We need to cross the bridge and take escalating trail to Dhunche.

Day15: Dhunche to Kathmandu (B)
Dhunche to Kathmandu distance is 117km. We will reach Kathmandu in 9hrs.

Day16: Departure
Thamel is more popular destination for last minute shopping. You can buy souvenir items like handicrafts and masks in Thamel. You will be picked up at the hotel and shifted to Kathmandu Airport from where you will head towards your next destination. We hope to see you soon.
