You should definitely go for Lobuche Peak Climb if you are looking for technical peak climbing in Nepal. Lobuche Peak constitutes of Lobuche East (6119m) and Lobuche West (6145m) peaks which are joined together by the ridge. The beautiful Lobuche peak locates above Khumbu glacier. We will take the popular Climbing route that stretches through the southern ridge. We need to cross the steep and slippery path and trek along the glaciated valleys to reach the serrated ridge. Expect the slope of 70 degree inclination.
We will make our Base Camp of Lobuche at the foothill of southwestern face of Lobuche. At the top of glaciated land. We can get scenic views of Amadablam and Tawache Mountains from the base camp. Lobuche is near to Everest Mountain.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)
Day 02: Flight: Kathmandu- Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2610m) 2-3hrs
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5-6hrs

Day 05: Namche Bazar to Tengboche (3860m) 5hrs

Day 18: Departure
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)
Once you arrive in Kathmandu Airport, you will complete your visa formalities and then meet our representative who will pick you up and shift you to 3 star hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get refreshed and then escorted to our Travel Agency where you will be introduced with your crew members. Some moments will be given to get up close and personal. You will enjoy delicious cuisine and get pleasant accommodation in Kathmandu. 

Day 02: Flight:Kathmandu- Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2610m) 2-3hrs
We will take 35minutes of Kathmandu Lukla flight through one of the best air routes in the world with views of Cho Oyu and other mountains. The plane lands at Tenzing Hilary Airport in Lukla and then we will meet with our additional crew members. Everest Expedition trek begins from Phakding. We will walk past the mani walls and cross the forest to arrive at a steel suspension bridge. We will reach another bridge at Thado Koshi River. Crossing Dudh Koshi River, we will walk through Ghat to Phakding.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5-6hrs
We will cross the pine woods to reach a suspension bridge over Dudh Kosi River.  We will cross the river and walk through few small but culturally rich Sherpa villages of Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo and Jorsale and arrive at Namche Bazaar which is the trade center. It is also the gateway to Everest Khumbu Region.

Day04: Rest Day at Namche Bazaar
It will be wise to take the first break at Namche Bazar since you will find sharp increase in height afterwards. We can grab this opportunity to take short hike in Khude Village or we could simply go for a walk in market area of Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Namche Bazar to Tengboche (3860m) 5hrs
The trail traverses the forest of rhododendron and juniper and drops down to Kayangjuma. Walking past the small Sherpa settlement at Sansa, we will enter the forest groove and reach Dudh Koshi River. Crossing Dudh Koshi River, we will walk to the suspension bridge and climb further to Phuki Thengna. The beautiful Tengboche Village lies a bit far from Phuki Thengna. We will visit Tengboche Monastery which is the largest monastery in the region.

Day 06: Tengboche to Pheriche (4312m) 5-6hrs
Tengboche offers breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Everest Mountains. We will visit Tengboche Monastery before continuing our journey to Pheriche.

Day 07: Pheriche to Dughla (4920m) 4-5hrs
Trek on this day continues through Imja Valley. From the valley, we will descend through the rock strewn path to Lobuche River from where we will take the descending trail to Dingboche. Walking further, we will cross Khumbu Khola Valley and reach Dusa from where we will arrive at Phulung Karpo. We can get spectacular view of Pumori Mountain from Dusa before crossing the wooden bridge to Dugla. We can get views of Thamserku, Nuptse and other mountains from Dughla.

Day 08: Dughla to Lobuche (4920m) 4-5hrs
Leaving Dughla, we will continue our journey through Khumbu Glacier. Cautious walk through Khumbu Glacier will take us to Chupki Lhara from where we will arrive at the small river from melting snow. Crossing the river, we will reach Lobuche from where we can get views of Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbutse and other mountains.

Day 09: Lobuche to Kala Patthar and back to Lobuche
Trek on 9th day takes us to Kala Patthar. It is one of the best view points in Everest Region. It offers best sunset view in Everest. We will return back to Lobuche from Gorakshep and stay overnight.

Day 10: Lobuche to Lobuche Base Camp
Following the rock strewn tapered path from Lobuche, we will reach Lobuche Glacier. The glacier rewards us with panoramic views of Amadblam, Thamserku and other mountains. We will walk through the barren land to Lobuche Base Camp where we will stay overnight.

Day 11: Base Camp to High Camp
Leaving Lobuche Base Camp, we will reach the High Camp. Pay attention to the instructions of the team leader on how to use climbing gears and safety measures. We will climb Lobuche High Camp and make our camp at the flat snow land.   

Day 12: Climb to summit and back to Base Camp
4hours of climb will take us to the summit. Lobuche peak offers the 360 degree views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori and other peaks and mountains. We will descend to Lobuche Base Camp on the same day.

Day13: Lobuche Base Camp to Pangboche
We will leave Lobuche Base Camp and walk through the arid valley to Everest Base Camp. The trail takes us through Pheriche to Pangboche where we will stop by Pangboche Monastery before staying overnight.

Day 14: Pangboche to Tengboche (3860m) 6hrs
We will lower down to Dudhkoshi River. Walking along the river, we will reach Dudh Koshi Gorge from where we will traverse the colorful and lively forested ridge and enter Tengboche village of Sherpa ethnic. Tengboche is the largest Monastery in Khumbu region.

Day 15: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 3hrs
After brief descend, we will reach Kyangjuma which we will cross to enter the forest. The trail continues along the Army Camp to Namche Bazaar where we will stay overnight.

Day 16: Namche Bazar to Lukla (2840m) 6hrs
We will walk through Phakding to Namche Bazar. We will enjoy the scenic view of Kusum Kangaru peak on the way. We will stay overnight in a hotel in Lukla.

Day 17: Lukla to Kathmandu flight
35minutes of Lukla Kathmandu flight will take us back to Kathmandu. We will return back to hotel in Kathmandu and celebrate successful Lobuche Peak Climb. 

Day 18: Departure
Thamel is more popular destination for last minute shopping. You can buy souvenir items like handicrafts and masks in Thamel. You will be picked up at the hotel and shifted to Kathmandu Airport from where you will head towards your next destination. We hope to see you soon.
