Kirtipur, Bungmati and Dakshinkali Private Day Tour combines natural, cultural and spiritual experiences in a single package of just 5hrs.  

You will be picked up from the hotel by representative from Well Adventure Tours roughly at around 7am and shifted to our office where you will be introduced with the guide and he will do the briefing regarding the conduct of your tour.

At around 8:00am, you will drive to Kirtipur in a private vehicle. Kirtipur is a historical city that exists about6km southwest of Kathmandu. It is a predominantly Newar settlement where we can witness antique Newari architecture. We will visit Bagh Bhairav Temple, a temple dedicated to God of Destruction- Bhairav. Taudaha- the pond of snake and Chovar hill are the places of interest in Kirtipur.

We will leave for Bungmati from Kirtipur. Bungmati is the sixteenth century village of Newari ethnics where woodcarving is the chief occupation. Journey continues through narrow alleyways where grains can be seen kept for drying on the road. Bungmati is the summer settlement of Red Macchendranath God. We will visit this temple of rain god before heading to Dakshinkali Temple.

Dakshinkali Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali- the most blood thirsty manifestation of Goddess Durga. It is located near to Pharping village. The main temple exists near to the confluence of river surrounded by woods which make it an ideal location for picnic. Remember to buy a local dish named Khuwa when you are in Dakshinkali. We will return to Kathmandu from Dakshinkali at around 1pm and you will be dropped at the hotel in which you are staying.
