Join in the pleasant Sunkoshi Rafting and sail through the Top10 white water rafting Rivers in the world. It is also the longest river rafting in Nepal. Tackle the obstacles placed by rapids that exist in between Grade 3 and Grade 5 categories. Well Adventure Tours & Travel offers 10 days Sunkoshi Rafting. Entry point will be at Dolalghat that lies 57km east from Kathmandu. The check-out point will be at Chatara.
By rafting in Sunkoshi, you will be taken to the sensational sail through 270km of turbulent river. The river flows from the mountains towards the flat land of Southern part of Nepal.
Sail through technical rapids in mild water and enjoy the views of alluvial valleys, deep gorges, culturally rich villages and stretch of camping area. We will sail past the technical Meat Grinder, High Anxiety, Punch and other rapids that are placed in Grade3 to Grade 5 category. From Chatara, we will return back to Kathmandu.

Day01: We will drive from Kathmandu to Dolalghat via Araniko Highway and reach Check-in point at Tarang Gaon where we will stay in a camp.

Day02: After breakfast, we will take 4hrs of rafting from Tarang Gaon to Dumja Village. It offers views of beautiful Langtang Ranges. We will face the challenges of technical rapids like Khuei Bhai which is full of boulders and pebbles. We will reach Mahadev Temple where we will stay in a camp overnight.

Day03: Raft from Dumja Village to Khunkhot. It takes about 6hrs. We will pass through wild forest. Sailing across rapids, we will pass through villages of fishermen like Chamera Bhir. We will pass through Khurkhot rapid.

Day04: We will raft from Khurkhot to Likhu Khola. We will sail for about 5hrs during which we will pass through few Rai Villages. We will have plenty of photo shooting opportunities.

Day05: Raft from Likhukhola to Harkapur. It takes about 6hrs of sailing through turbulent river. The journey takes us through deep gorges and technical rapids and gives us views of langur and rhesus monkeys.
