Business visa, diplomatic visa, non- residential nepali visa, non- tourist visa, official visa, provisional visa, residential visa, study visa, tourist visa and transit visa are types of Nepal visa.
Foreign tourist visiting Nepal will be offered tourist visa. Visa can be obtained either from the Embassy of Nepal or you can even take visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Tourist visa is granted for maximum 150 days in a visa year (January to December).
A tourist who has departed before the expiry of period specified in the visa issued in a visa year will not be allowed to use visa by adding remaining period to another visa year.
If a foreigner enters into Nepal towards the end of a visa year and if he / she desires to spend the period during which he/ she may stay in Nepal with the tourist visa of the other visa year, such facility is entertained on the condition that the fees for such period shall be made on the basis of total period of his/ her stay.
