Climbing Everest from Nepal was the only alternative when Tibet closed its border to foreigners after the infamous Cultural Revolution. Well Adventure Travel and Tours offer the shortest Everest expedition package. After taking 35minutes of Kathmandu Lukla flight, we will lower down at Tenzing Hilary Airport in Lukla and cross rivers before passing through Ghat to Phakding. We will enter Sagarmatha National park from Jhorsale and walk past Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche and Lobuche to reach Everest Base Camp located at 17598ft. Climbing the Khumbu icefall, we will cross four camps before making it to the summit. We will continue our journey through the south eastern ridge to reach the southern summit.

Everest climbing route from Nepal
Also popular as Climbing Everest from South, Everest can be reached by following the classical route through Khumbu region to Khumbu glacier from where the route drops down to Lobuche.

Everest Camps

Base Camp (18000ft)
Everest Base Camp will be at an altitude of 18000ft located to the north of Khumbu glacier. We will walk through seracs, ice block and crevasses with the help of ladder and rope to the High Camp I.

Base Camp to High Camp1 (20000ft)
It exists at the top of flat ice land surrounded by gigantic snow walls and interrupted by deep crevasses. You can experience warmth of sun during the day while at the quiet night, you can hear cracking of crevasses.

High Camp1 to High Camp2 (21000ft)
It exists just below the ice-filled Lhotse Mountain wall. Feel the thrill of hearing the rolling clouds. Prepare yourself to battle the violent wind that may pay you a surprise visit.

High Camp2to High Camp3 (22300ft)
We will make it to Camp3 after climbing 4000ft including the gigantic Mount Lhotse Wall. We need the gears like rope and ladder to proceed. Later, rotten limestones will place some obstructions for us. We will move through snow field to Geneva Spur to the South Col and place our camp.

High Camp3 to High Camp4 (26000ft)
It is the final camp which exists at a mere 500m distance from the summit. It offers the toughest challenge. You will have to persistently face violent wind. Climbing through the narrow southeast ridge to the south summit is the best way to conquer summit.
