Sarangkot Hill (1500m) is the hillstation famous for offering best sunrise view in Pokhara. It is the starting point for Pokhara motor gliding. We will take the flight from Pokhara Airport to the Pokhara Valley during which we will fly along Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Mountains, paddy fields, native villages and lakes.

The harness connects passenger’s seat with pilot’s. It is a safe sport. Flight duration may get effected by the weather condition. These aircrafts have been built in Russia using the latest innovative technology and these can be operated in between 50kmph to 130kmph. These light aircraft have no window. They come with two seats- each for the pilot and the passenger. They can easily land and take off in any surface whether it is grassland or a muddy road.

Discovery Flight
It lasts for 30minutes. It is the shortest flight. You will fly near Phewa Lake, Shanti Stupa and get views of Dhulagiri and Tibetan Refugee Camp in Dhaulagiri. This is the cheapest flight which is also suitable for those who need to return Kathmandu on the same day.

Cross country tandem flight
It is a bit long flight than tandem flight. You will take off from Sarangkot hill and fly above unchartered land, following Seti or Mardi River to the altitude between 2500m and 3400m and then you will return to Pokhara. The flight duration is one hour.

Expedition Tandem Flight
The flight duration is 2hrs which covers whole Annapurna Range and most part of Pokhara Valley.
Ultraflight does not cost much. You will get brief training before taking flight. You can get aerial photography or you can even enjoy film shooting. September to june is best month for ultraflight.
